The dome

A dome is a difficult construction. All forces concentrate at exactly one point: the top. Any material will crack under enormous pressure. However there is an ingenious solution. The hole. You open a hole around the top and you put an iron ring. Thus, the static forces cancel each other before they reach a unique point.
